How to adjust your pack

DId you Know?

You’re supposed to adjust your backpack straps in a specific order?

A poorly adjusted pack shifts as you move, pulls your posture out of line, and pushes weight onto the wrong muscles. That leads to hot spots, shoulder fatigue, lower-back strain, and wasted energy. A dialed-in fit locks the load onto your body’s natural support structure (your skeletal system), keeps the weight close to your center of gravity, and stabilizes your movement. The result is simple: better balance, less pain, and more endurance. Do it right and the pack disappears into the hike. Do it wrong and you fight it all day.

* Every Odyssey pack includes sewn-in numbered tags that guide the adjustment order
